**Responsibilities**:

- Build positive relationships with all district staff
- With the help of the Assistant Manager, supervise all cleaning and custodial service employees in a unionized environment
- Manage caretaking and substitute caretaking staff, including, training, scheduling, evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Provide guidance in matters of custodial services, purchasing of custodial supplies and equipment, evaluation of cleaning chemicals, evaluate building materials for new construction or renovations and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
