**Position**: Payroll Administrator

**Location**: Acheson, AB or Calgary, AB

**Type**: Full Time, Salary

**Shift**: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

**Benefits**: Employees will be eligible for Company Benefits after 90 days of hire date

**Responsibilities**:
The Administrative Assistant will aid in several different areas within Kichton Construction. Some of these will include:

- Process payroll for salaried and hourly staff
- Process new hires, terminations, and other data changes as required
- Prepare Records of Employment
- Process payroll deductions and remittances
- Ensure accuracy of earnings and deductions each payroll cycle
- Process special pay as required
- Process required adjustments
- Identify and resolve payroll issues
- Respond to payroll questions from employees
- Create and/or run reports from payroll system
- Complete reconciliations as needed
- Filing and other administrative duties, as required

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 Years experience running full-cycle Payroll
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office programs; Excel and Word
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience working in Eclipse or Explorer is considered an asset
