Acupuncturist

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles and appropriate techniques.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients about acupuncture, its benefits, and self-care practices to enhance their healing process.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment sessions and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture practices and medical terminology.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health practices.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient wellness.

**Experience**:

- acupunturist: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- AED Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
