**About The Role**

**What you will be doing to make an impact**:

- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various products and items, while following routes and adhering to time schedule
- Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
- Accept or make payments for goods
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road
- Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems encountered
- Communicate with central dispatch
- Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using provided tools as appropriate
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable provincial and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with the various stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
- Provide feedback and support regarding client concerns, mechanical issues, or delivery problems
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset and will assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Compliance with strict safety procedures and safety checks
- Complete other duties as necessary

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Work experience as a Courier or Delivery Driver
- Possess valid Ontario ‘G’ class license or equivalent with clean driver’s abstract
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate with others
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Mathematical and technological skills commensurate with education and experience level
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma
