**Communications Manager**

Hourly Rate $37.19 - $46.48 (Commensurate with Experience)

Permanent Full Time

Start Date - As Soon as Possible

St. Joseph’s Health Centre of Sudbury is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Manager of Communications** to lead all internal and external communications across the organization and its entities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of St. Joseph’s Health Centre and collaborating closely with the President and CEO, this role is vital in shaping and promoting the organization’s public image, mission, and values.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies and an annual communications plan
- Manage internal/external messaging, public relations, and crisis communications
- Lead social media strategy, website content, and marketing initiatives
- Act as media spokesperson and coordinate public events
- Monitor media coverage and stakeholder feedback
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners (e.g., Ministry of Health, community organizations)

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a communications leadership role (healthcare or public sector preferred)
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong digital media and content development experience
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.19-$46.48 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
