In the hands-on role of **Warehouse Supervisor**, responsibility will be to lead, manage and support all daily operations of our warehouse distribution center and its staff through various duties and resources. This role is a full-time position which will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Bushnell Canada offers competitive wages, a comprehensive benefit packages as well as a pension plan.

**Responsibilities Include**:
Duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Schedule and oversee warehouse staff.
- Knowledge of and comply with OHSA, WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) legislation to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
- Ensure warehouse policies and processes are understood and practiced by the team.
- Conduct daily data gathering activities by running reports and then using this data to analyze and understand KPI’s and to measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities.
- Perform labour planning activities by assessing daily inbound and outbound volumes and determining resources required by job function.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure they are adhered to.
- Supervise the safe execution of all warehouse functions, provide leadership, direction, and guidance to warehouse staff.
- Participant in the Health and safety committee.
- Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
- Conduct physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
- Replenish stock and inventory as needed.
- Ensure that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
- Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
- Schedule materials being transferred to and from warehouse, coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Monitor expenditures: implements corrective actions if needed.
- Supervise all forklift and machinery operations as well as enforces compliance with company safety protocol.
- Maintain warehouse machinery and equipment, ensure machinery and/equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy warehouse is kept.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees.
- Ensure shipments are sent out efficiently and on time while meeting and maintaining compliance needs.
- Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed.
- Ensure shipments are being made in accordance with schedules, forecasts, and inventory guidelines.
- Monitor warehouse policies and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective processing of delivery orders; control of damages, errors, and mis-picks.
- Oversee all aspects of customs clearance inbound and outbound.
- Handles fast-paced, time sensitive customer requests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. College diploma or University degree in related a field preferred.
- 5+ years Warehouse experience, DC or facility management to include inbound, picking, outbound, returns, inventory control and maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory/leadership experience.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, enterprise management systems (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems such as SPS Commerce, Vendor Central, Commerce Hub and EDI.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Inventory management skills include but not limited to SKU set-up, specification master management, space consolidation and open space requirements.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Experience with customs clearance inbound and outbound, HTS codes, USMCA and FDA.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Physical requirements include lifting (50 plus lbs.), carrying, bending, sitting, stretching, and standing for extended periods of time.
