**Position Summary**
We are currently seeking a **Community Support Supervisor** for a 12-month contract to join our Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future direction of our organization. The Supervisor will lead daily service delivery across CLKD programs, ensuring compliance with Ministry requirements and alignment with our mission, vision and values.
This role involves supervising the planning and delivery of personalized supports for individuals served by CLKD, helping them reach their goals and take part in community life. You will lead a dedicated team of Community Support Workers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coordination within and across teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Promote and uphold CLKD’s mission, vision, and core values in all aspects of service.
- Participate actively as a member of the Leadership Team to help shape the agency’s strategic plan and goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of support services, ensuring high-quality, person-directed care.
- Provide leadership and coaching to staff, facilitating team meetings and performance discussions.
- Manage staff scheduling, approve timecards, and coordinate coverage for vacant shifts.
- Support staff in the development and execution of Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
- Ensure all services comply with applicable legislation and quality standards.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate frontline teams in a developmental service environment.
- Strong knowledge of legislation and best practices relevant to developmental services (e.g. MCCSS standards, Health & Safety regulations).
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; capable of sound decision-making under pressure.
- Experience with program planning, program expenditure, and maintaining service quality.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to take initiative and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with digital software systems and databases.
**Education and Experience**:
- Diploma in Developmental Services Work (DSW) or equivalent diploma/degree in Social Services or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a unionized setting.
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and minimum $1 million in vehicle liability insurance.
**Position Details**:
- Contract Term: 12 months (August 11, 2025 - August 30, 2026)
- Hours: 35 hours per week with flexibility based on program and team needs
- Location: 286 Lambton Street. Will be required to visit program sites regularly.
- Wage: $35.61 per hour.
