**Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide**

**Status**:Part-time, Seasonal **Start Date**:August 25, 2025

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday; 9:15 am to 3:15 pm

**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Kindergarten teachers to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the classroom.
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, dressing, hygiene, and minor injuries.
- Prepare, serve, and clean up lunch and snacks, while encouraging healthy eating habits and independence.
- Supervise students during indoor and outdoor play, promoting safe, inclusive, and respectful interactions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, with an emphasis on fostering social-emotional learning and self-regulation.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources (e.g., laminating, organizing supplies).
- Support teachers during special events and field trips by supervising students and helping with logistics.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support student learning and classroom functioning.

**Skills, Experience and Attributes Required**:

- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with basic first aid procedures; certification is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Bilingualism (English & French).
