**Home Support Worker**

**Located** in North York

**Part-time**

On behalf of the Riskalla Family.
- **Required to provide meaningful support to a client with Seizure Disorder.**_

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Practical Nursing, Social Service, Child and Youth Worker, or equivalent experience with youths with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Seizure Disorders.

**Requirements**:

- Criminal Background Check/ Vulnerable Sector Screening

**Roles/ Responsibilities**
- Medication Administration
- Meal preparation
- Safe transfer to different locations
- Personal care/ Support in
- Toileting
- Feeding
- Showering
- Dressing
- Light cleaning surrounding the client’s needs
- Support the client in being physically active
- Encourage mentally stimulating activities:

- Puzzles
- iPad games
- Trains
- Matching (Shapes, Numbers, Letters)
- Etc.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear a mask and shield at all times throughout the shift.
