**Job purpose**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Coordinate with the department manager to identify short term and long-term staffing needs.
- Serve as the Lead Recruiter and collaborate with the team to determine most suitable recruitment strategy.
- Anticipate, coordinate, and plan for upcoming recruitment activities.
- Create, update, and maintain strong networking relationships with internal and external talent sources.
- Develop a recruitment strategy by using information collated internally to proactively search for a diverse pool of talent using various recruiting methods (e.g., direct sourcing, internal recruitment, web-based, print media, social media)
- Prepare annual report to reflect hiring and retention data.
- Ensure the full-cycle recruitment is managed and the induction program is scheduled for the new hires.
- Manage, create and update Job Descriptions as required.
- Manage the performance reviews and the probation period evaluations.
- Manage the follow up meetings with the new hires through their first year: 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year follow up.
- Complete Background Checks for office staff and managers.
- Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
- Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
- Approve the vacation requests.
- Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
- Issue disciplinary action when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role.
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
- BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
