Pilates Instructor

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be opening a brand-new Pilates studio in Barrie this January 2026, located at 431 Bayview Drive.

We’re currently looking for certified Pilates Instructors — both Mat and Reformer — to join our team. Our Mat classes are heated, so experience or comfort with hot environments is a plus

We offer flexible schedules and are open to both full-time and part-time instructors. Availability for Saturday mornings is preferred.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead dynamic group Pilates classes (Mat and/or Reformer) for clients of all skill levels.
- Design and adapt personalized workout programs that align with individual fitness goals.
- Demonstrate proper form and technique to ensure client safety and maximize effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering guidance, and keeping clients motivated.
- Track client progress and adjust routines as needed to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment.
- Encourage class participation and help create a positive, community-driven atmosphere.
- Stay current with new Pilates techniques, training methods, and industry trends through ongoing education.

**Certifications & Skills**:

- Certified Pilates Instructor (Mat and/or Reformer certification required; additional fitness certifications are an asset).
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Proven experience teaching Pilates or other fitness disciplines in a group or private setting.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly instruct, motivate, and engage clients.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Effective time management to organize group classes and private sessions efficiently.
- Natural leadership qualities to inspire confidence and create a supportive class atmosphere.
- Ability to adapt instruction based on individual needs, goals, and physical abilities.
- Genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
