**The vacancy for a Manager Finance & HR at Rijk Zwaan**:
We are looking for a Manager of Finance and HR to help us further build and manage operations of our rapidly growing Rijk Zwaan subsidiary located in Leamington, Ontario, Canada. Currently, the Canada Office is part of our North America Cluster and closely supported by our Management Team located in Salinas, California (USA). As part of the North America Cluster, you will work closely with our North America Managers to help guide our Canada Team in, and among other things; Finance and HR policies, planning, internal control policies and procedures, external audits, investments and personnel budgeting, along with managing daily operations.
- Within this role you are responsible for the direct management and supervision of our Canada Office Team. You are responsible for all Finance, HR, legal, IT and Administrative related activities. This entails activities like recruitment of new employees, developing people, developing and managing HR policies and procedures, compensation and benefits administration, accounting and bookkeeping tasks, legal contracts and claims administration, risk management (i.e., safety compliance, insurance policies, vendors, and fleet management), local contact IT support, as well as all general facility and office management activities. Overall, you are responsible for assuring well-functioning daily operations.**We are seeking a Manager Finance & HR with**:

- Bachelor’s degree (and Masters preferred) preferably in the area of Business, Finance or Accounting
- Maximum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in an (international) environment
- a strong affinity with agriculture
- Furthermore, you are a practical person with a hands-on mentality and able to multi-task. You have strong attention to detail. You have good analytical skills and are able to communicate well. You have a people-oriented management style and like to coach. Your management and accounting skills are well developed. You feel comfortable to operate as an entrepreneur within a fast growing organization.
- This position is based at our Leamington, Ontario office on a daily basis to manage operations. There would be occasional travel to our USA office and/or our home office in The Netherlands.**What can you expect from us?**:
