**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smartwool, Whistler. In this role, you will be providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and use your brand knowledge to find the right product to suit them. **Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner
- Educate customers on the benefits of year-round merino-based apparel
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist in merchandising efforts to ensure an appealing store layout and product displays
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of merino wool beneficial but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Organizational skills to maintain a visually appealing work environment and manage inventory effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated

**What we offer**
- Starting wage of $21.50/hr
- 32-40hrs per week
- 4 day work week (4x10hr shifts, 3 day weekend)
- Seasonal uniform allowance (twice a year)

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
