Accounting Manager, Manager Accounting, Controller, Senior Controller, Manufacturing Controller,

**As a member of the Plant Management Team,** reporting to the Plant Manager you will manage the financial functions of the facility. Supervise AR/AP Accountant and Plant Account/Payroll. In this role you will be responsible for managing all financial reporting, budget, forecasting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will be an interactive contributor on the Management Team. Your support will allow the plant to maximize its effectiveness in Materials, Quality, Production and Human Resources.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage financial functions including cost and general accounting activities, product costing and capacity planning, and time studies.
- Analysis of operating costs and variances, providing advice and recommendations for Capacity Planning, Inventory, COPQ, Labour Costs and Operations
- Maintenance and improvements to various accounting systems.
- Maintenance and development of forecasting and budgeting models.
- Timely, accurate preparation of special studies and projects.
- Leadership of a department with two direct reports each with diverse backgrounds and experience
- Manage payroll system, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Manage audits, documentation and associated compliance & reporting.
- Work directly with external auditors

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree - Finance or Accounting
- Five to eight years experience in manufacturing environment, Automotive industry experience would be an asset
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills, financial analysis, cost, general accounting and manufacturing accounting systems, standard cost accounting and budgeting.
- Good supervisory, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accounting/Professional Designation is an asset
- Knowledge of MRP system - Epicor and CMS are used at client
- Expert excel skills

**Salary**: $98,708.71-$105,251.50 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
