Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of communication and data transmission cables. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise in Hardware, Ethernet, electrical, low voltage, telephone, and telecommunication systems. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in computer networking, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Install and terminate communication cables, including Ethernet, telephone, and low voltage cables
- Able to read layouts and drawings
- Hardware Installation Experience
- Troubleshoot and repair cable faults and connectivity issues
- Test and certify cable installations for proper functionality
- Perform cable management and labeling to ensure organization and ease of maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all installations and repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Cable Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Ethernet, electrical, low voltage, telephone, and telecommunication systems
- Familiarity with computer networking and Cisco routers
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
