**Manual Milling Machinist**

We are looking for an experienced Manual Milling Machinist to join our team. We are a climate-controlled machine shop.

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Select proper feeds, speeds, depth of cut and tooling and set up hand machine
- Ensure all parts produced meet specs of print using proper measurement tools (Verniers, Micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to work within very close tolerances
- Read and follow drawings & job tickets
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Load and indicate part to fixture
- Follow all safety rules and keep work area in orderly condition

**Required knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Have excellent work ethic
- Have the ability to stand for long hours while working in a fast-paced environment, and meet time deadlines
- Must be able to read and understand drawings and handle measuring equipment
- Basic math skills necessary to convert fraction-decimal equivalent & metric/imperial conversions
- MUST have knowledge of manual milling machines
- Experience 3-5 constant years as a manual milling machinist
- Experience handling large, heavy parts (up to 20-30 lbs.) as well as smaller components

**Compensation**: $24.00-$27.00 an hour depending on experience
