**Drafting & CAD Technician**

Global Mining Products is a **Langley, BC**-based **manufacturer** of Mining / OTR wheels and rims. We are seeking a **Drafting & CAD Technician** proficient in **Solidworks** to join our Drafting / Engineering team.

This is a **full time**, **office-based **position perfect for CAD technicians who enjoy working in both independent and collaborative capacities.

Salary negotiable based on experience.

**Job Duties**
- Creation and revision of controlled manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
- Use of our MRP system to review inventory data, and create items such as bills of material, work order instructions, part numbers, product specification data, etc.
- Assisting Engineering and Management with tasks and projects.
- Assisting with product technical inquiries from our Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Performing all duties in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management processes.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
- Proficiency with Solidworks. Similar CAD software experience may be considered.
- Good computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel.
- Experience using measuring tools, e,g,: vernier caliper, ID gauges, etc.
- Experience with an MRP / ERP system is a major asset.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
