Field Supervisor for Integrated Vegetation Management for projects in Northern BC. This position is based from Prince George, BC.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Ensure Compliance on all OH&S related aspects
- Ensure Spectrum policies are followed
- Assist Project Manager and Human Resources with hiring and personnel resource requirements
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for the crew
- Be the main point of contact for clients
- Occasionally work with crew on sites, and assist crew leads with daily operations
- Assist Project Managers with project reports
- Ensure daily communication with Crew and Clients
- Enter and review payroll for self and crew.
- Position requires outside travel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

- Any educational background in Natural Resources, Forestry or Environmental Science would be considered a strong asset
- B.C Pesticide Applicator Certification (5 year), or provincial equivalent
- Strong proficiency in using a chainsaw
- Experience in vegetation management
- Experience in a leadership role
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement OR Occupational First Aid Level 3
- Class 5 Drivers License and Clean Drivers abstract
- Experience using ATVs, or other offroad vehicles
- Able to work outside and in a range of weather conditions
- Physically fit to work and walk in a rough terrain area
- Can comply with Drug and Alcohol Test (mandatory for safety sensitive position - chainsaw and vehicle operation)

REMUNERATION:

- $26.00 - $35.00 per hour de
- Benefits package after three months of employment
- Eligibility for participation in the Company's Deferred Share Unit (DSU) Plan.
- 4x4 for work-use
