**As IT Support Technician YOU Will Be Responsible For**
- Respond and provide technical support to end-users in a way that is efficient, and customer focused.
- Effectively triage support requests and assign to appropriate personnel.
- Deploy new and replacement systems using the most efficient methods.
- Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance escalation if required, of printers and other vendor provided equipment.
- Create and maintain procedural documentation for technology use. Provide step by step guidance to non-technical users to solve their technical issues.
- Manage and maintain technology asset inventory.
- Act as a role model who supports a positive organizational culture.
- Perform related duties as required.

**What We Need From YOU**
- Degree or Company approved diploma in Computing Sciences.
- A minimum of one-year related experience in an information technology environment.
- Technical support certification, such as A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, is an asset.
- Strong and demonstrated experience in the understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and common office software/IT tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist users and document processes.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and customer service skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic to complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Enthusiasm to solve problems, learn new tools and methods, and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong organizational ability, time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality service and efficient response.
- Ability to physically lift and move equipment of approximately 50 lbs.

This unionized position offers an annual salary range of $53,150 - 64,229, a comprehensive benefits package, a fun and inclusive work environment, professional development opportunities and the potential for further advancement within the company.
