**Position Summary**:
The Housing/Lease Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring the effective financial and operational management of the Supportive Housing program. This position is responsible for overseeing all budgeting and financial reporting, identifying and securing funding opportunities, and specifically managing the operations of a 48-unit housing program. The role includes landlord engagement, lease management, tenant coordination. As a member of the management team, the Housing/Lease Manager also contributes to strategic planning, compliance, and organizational sustainability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Management**
- Develop and manage organizational and the program-specific budget for Supportive Housing.
- Monitor financial performance, forecast surpluses/deficits, and prepare variance reports.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to funders and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Manage program inventory and storage
- Prepare budget for surplus spending and forecast next year’s budget.
**Housing Program Oversight**
- Manage a 48-unit housing program, including tenant intake, move-ins/outs, and waitlist coordination.
- Establish and maintain head lease agreements with private landlords.
- Ensure housing services align with program goals and client needs.
**Supportive Housing Services & Operations**
- Oversee contracts and service agreements with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and funder requirements.
- Contribute to risk management, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all units are maintained and suitable for our clients. (inspect on an annual basis)
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a not-for-profit or housing context.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in social services, in particular Mental Health and Substance Use Health.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing landlord relationships.
- Knowledge of housing programs, property management, and social services is an asset.
Excellent communication in both English and French, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $35.93-$37.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
