**Wages**:

- Skid Steer Operators - $24-28

**Position**:

- Seasonal

**Shifts**:

- Monday to Friday - weather permitting (8:00am to 6:00pm)
- Weekend availability (to make up for rain days, etc.)

**What you will do**:

- Operate a skid steer to perform a wide range of tasks, including grading, excavation, material handling, and site cleanup.
- Safely and proficiently maneuver the skid steer in tight spaces, around obstacles, and on various terrains.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of the skid steer to ensure its proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assisting landscape work on commercial jobsites.
- Using power tools for construction tasks such as quick cut saws, chain saws, plate tampers, power wheelbarrows, skills saws, sod cutters, rototillers, drills, etc.
- Loading and unloading tools and materials from trucks and trailers.
- Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records of activities.
- Helping to improve efficiencies of the daily tasks.
- Any other tasks pertaining to landscape construction

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating skid steers and heavy equipment.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Physically fit with strong stamina and the ability to lift a minimum of 60lbs
- Ensuring safe and efficient practices are being utilized when operating tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Effective English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Smartphone skills an asset for job reporting (personal smartphone with data plan must be used throughout the day for communication, payroll, and reporting).

**Work conditions**:

- Various locations on commercial landscape construction sites with in Regina
- Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.
- Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays or flex work week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
