Reporting to the road foreman, the road mechanic is primarily responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our Merlo, SkyTrak, and Snorkel telescopic equipment in Central Edmonton and surrounding neighbourhoods. At Manulift, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, ranging from oil changes to the maintenance and repair of complex electrical and hydraulic systems.

As a road mechanic, you will benefit from continuous training, coaching, and become a specialist in telescopic technology. This technology includes a variety of components, providing constant challenges in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

Department : Service

**Main responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of machinery.
- Ensure systematic follow-up on work and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete various service documents within the prescribed deadlines.
- Order the necessary parts for various repairs and maintain an up-to-date inventory.
- Complete warranty documents and ship defective parts within the specified timeframes.
- Perform all other related tasks.

**Experience and desired skills**:

- Off Road/On Road Journeyman licence required with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3 years of experience as a road mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and electronics.
- Comfortable reading various electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Excellent diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- High level of comfort with daily computer use.
- Excellent prioritization, organizational skills, motivation, and attention to detail.
- Customer service oriented.
