**Position Summary**
- This position is responsible for assisting classroom instructors in the performance of their duties by performing a variety of duties including supervising and assisting students, preparing and maintaining classroom materials and leading tutorials.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist with instruction, supervises and assists students as required and assists with class schedule preparation.
- Prepares and maintains classroom materials for instructors and students. Produces instructional materials in alternate format as needed.
- Tutors or assists in tutorials for small groups of learners.
- Photocopies, scans, edits and modifies documents.
- Maintains and tracks inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Maintains list or database of instructional resources.
- Performs clerical work as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**

**Education and Experience**

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and faculty.
- Experience in operating adaptive equipment specifically designed for Visually Impaired individuals.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Considerable knowledge of the course content, instructional equipment and materials and the various procedures, techniques and methodologies. Previous experience assisting in instruction.
- Ability in or willingness to learn how to assist people with multiple challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations within a specialized educational team.

**Salary Range - Prorated based on FTE**
- PAYGRADE 20 - $28.62 - $33.28 hourly
