**Overview**
Industrial Sales Representative - Polytarp Products

Location: Canada

Employment Type: Full-Time

**Salary**: Competitive base salary + Bonus incentives

Polytarp Products is a leader in flexible packaging and has recently expanded its capacity in plastic film production for the industrial and food packaging sectors. We are seeking a team player who can collaborate with our Technical staff to develop and sell innovative flexible packaging solutions for a variety of industries, including:

- Automated packaging equipment
- Protective films for product preservation (e.g., extending shelf life for perishable foods, preventing rust on industrial materials)
- Plastic liners for storage containers, such as corrugated boxes and Gaylords
- Industrial and food-grade films for moisture, oxygen, and contamination protection

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and food packaging sectors
- Work closely with Technical staff to provide customers with customized packaging solutions
- Use a CRM system to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data
- Provide technical product knowledge and support to clients
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in industrial sales (preferably in plastics or packaging)
- Experience with CRM software (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team, including Technical staff
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and trade shows
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
