Calgary, Canada Arbour Lake Residents Association Full time

**Summer Lake Staff/Concession**:
The Arbour Lake Residents Association (ALRA) cares for, and improves upon, Arbour Lake amenities, with the main focus being a pristine ten-acre lake in the heart of the community. The ALRA is committed to world-class customer service, programs and amenities. The Arbour Lake Seasonal Food and Beverage Concession Staff will be responsible for cash handling, preparing inventory and waste controls. Hours of work vary depending upon weather conditions and employees are expected to work day, afternoon and weekend shifts. This position involves standing for long periods of time and moderate lifting.
- Strong customer service skills, multi-tasking skills.
- Basic cleaning/housekeeping skills.
- Ability to move about and react quickly in emergency situations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities Include**:Ensures facility (office, bathrooms, shop) tidiness and cleanliness. ** Beach preparation, garbage removal, equipment/facility maintenance and other duties as they arise.

- Preparing a variety of menu items in a timely efficient manner.
- Recording and maintaining an accurate concession inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in food preparation, knowledge and understanding of all Health and Safety Guidelines, and he ability to operate all cooking and food preparation equipment (fryers and grills) safely and effectively
- Upon successful hire, individuals will be required to have received certification in Safe Food Handling
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to the start.
- Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

**Education**:

- High School or GED

**Salary**: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
