In addition to supporting the Tax Service Line Leader, the Tax team will rely on you to help ensure the operational excellence Grant Thornton strives to provide its clients and employees. You will be an integral part of the practice and a front line contact for clients and a liaison for employees to contact their clients.

**As an Administrative Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing administrative assistance to support the Transfer Pricing Leaders and administrative team. This role involves confidential and complex duties of an administrative nature relating to daily business operations and relationship management. This involves diversified and extremely confidential information that demands a high degree of discretion and attention to detail
- Managing and maintaining the calendars for the Transfer Pricing Leaders
- Assisting with routine client matters, such as billing, WIP extractions and summaries, client opportunity tracking, and engagement code setup/monitoring/closing
- Helping the Transfer Pricing Leaders with managing day-to-day interactions with clients and internal staff, including tracking of project status, follow-ups and next steps
- Leading multiple initiatives to improve the effectiveness/efficiency of current procedures, such as engagement letter preparation, billing, etc.
- Completing timesheets for the Transfer Pricing Leaders
- Maintaining business correspondence files, has control over confidential and sensitive material and files
- Managing the business expenses of the Transfer Pricing Leaders
- Responsible for helping to arrange and select locations for in-house and off premise conferences and receptions. Ensures suitable meeting rooms are selected and manages the logistics e.g. room arrangements, attendance, invitations, audio visual and electronic equipment, catering needs, etc.
- Performing a variety of sundry administrative duties, which may include, but not limited to: providing photocopying, scanning, facsimile and other office support
- Taking personal accountability for high achievement; actively participates in learning opportunities to improve individual and team contribution
- Understanding and accepts change as it relates to the role and needs of the business
- Contributing to the overall success of the team by sharing ideas and best practices. Values and builds on ideas presented by others
- Other duties as assigned

- 2-3 years of administrative experience in a busy environment
- Must possess a high level of administrative/organization, as well as interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective communication skills - written and oral
- Service-oriented attitude - team player
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills in working effectively with various levels of staff including executives and senior management
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with mínimal supervision
- Strong problem solving skills and resourceful in working with others
- Competence in computer-based programs, i.e. Microsoft Suite
- Experience with CRM tool an asset
- High degree of client focus
