The Fleet Analyst is responsible for the effective business operations within the Fleet & Equipment group. Responsibilities include: project management & coordination, drafting & updating of SOPs, vendor oversight, data gathering, data analysis, identifying gap/variance/trend, and reporting oversight. Additionally the role provides support to leaders in the day-to-day operations of the fleet services and wider OSS group as required.
- Knowledge of process re-engineering techniques
- Awareness of project management processes, principles and methodologies
- Fully proficient in use of MS Office, MS Project, Visio and other PM tools
- Creative, innovative, forward thinking, takes initiative
- Good understanding of business issues and challenges, specifically in a customer service environment
- Excellent analytical and business solution development skills, including the proven ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment
- Ability to develop statistical tracking methodologies to track performance and measurement against set standards of quality.
- Ability to develop dependable feedback systems and tracking
- **Capital and/or Operations Planning. **Assist in the management and coordination of the **Fleet Asset program**, supporting: the preparation of the annual fleet capital and/or operating budgets and long-range planning, gathering requirements for capital assets, external services, and associated programs, processing RFPs (submission, evaluation & selection), and ensuring on-time delivery. Respond to adjustments to capital and/or operational budgets by identifying departmental priorities and organizational needs. Coordinate fleet certification and fleet legislative compliance requirements; warranty and licensing of vehicles. Monitor and analyze the asset lifecycle process, including performance and maintenance of assets and systems.
- **Program Management. **Identify variances to plan and provide timely and accurate financial reporting associated with OSS programs and KPIs. Gather data to track & monitor program success and/or achievement of KPIs; identify and analyze variances to plan. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to support management decision making. Develop business cases for improvement initiatives, supported by cost/benefit analysis, and research solutions in support of sustainable, efficient business practices. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, provide qualitative & quantitative feedback to support annual estimates and forecasts.
- **Process & Data Management. **Assist in the identification, drafting, and revision of business processes. Manage the data related to capital planning and reporting and ensure department processes related to data, planning, and reporting are adhered to with rigor. Suggest and implement process & procedure enhancements to support the overall efficiency of the department.

**Ad-hoc Support. **Provide support in the effective daily operation of the OSS group.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse Management: 1 year (preferred)
