Responsibilities:

- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
- Remove snow and ice from surfaces using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Spread salt or sand on icy surfaces to prevent slipping and improve traction
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall levels
- Coordinate with team members to efficiently clear snow and maintain safe conditions

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to shovel and lift heavy loads of snow
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note: Landscape maintenance, garden, and building skills are not directly relevant to the role of a Snow Plow Operator. However, if the job requires additional responsibilities related to these skills, they can be included in the job description.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
