We are currently looking for an **Operations Supervisor** for our **Leduc Terminal**. The Operations Supervisor will oversee and supervise drivers and dispatchers, have a strong understanding of different types of equipment, and be a fast thinker with strong communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate drivers and dispatchers to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and track the progress of drivers and equipment throughout the day, addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
- Provide guidance and support to drivers and dispatchers, offering solutions and assistance as needed. Back up dispatcher as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication between different teams.
- Maintain accurate records of driver activities, including hours worked, delivered goods, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of drivers, equipment, and cargo.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to transportation management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
