**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are looking for ambitious **_Sprinkler Fitter(s)_** to join Pacific Coast Fire (a division of Onyx-Fire) in **Victoria, BC** full-time. As a Sprinkler Fitter, you will inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various types of Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems. Additionally, our Sprinkler Fitters may assist in the installation or commissioning of Sprinkler Systems in new construction and tenant improvement projects.

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot and repair a variety of Fire Sprinkler Systems in accordance with the 2018 BC Fire Code.
- Assist ASTTBC Technicians with Fire Alarm, Extinguishers, and Emergency Lighting testing, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
- Liaise with clients along with, on-site supervision to ensure high levels of customer service and effective communication.
- Ensure all work is executed using safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job.
- Complete and hand in daily reports, work orders, and timesheets in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor other team members.
- Assist with Sprinkler System installation and commissioning in new construction and tenant improvement projects as necessary.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to and promote Onyx-Fire’s Core Values, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Additional tasks as required.

- Journeymen Sprinkler Fitting ticket.
- Fire Alarm Experience.
- Have or willing to obtain ASTTBC RFPT endorsements.
- Experience installing and servicing sprinkler systems and associated piping.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive.
- Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
- Able to work 40hrs per week (overtime and on-call rotation as needed).
- Must have a valid BC Drivers License.
