Painter

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform minor repairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with power tools and other equipment.
- Assist in drywall installation and repairs as necessary.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in construction painting techniques and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience with drywall installation and repair is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Excellent communication skills for clear collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to build rapport with clients while ensuring their vision is realized in the final product.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques may be beneficial for certain projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- painting: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
