Plumber/gas Fitter

Thomas Heating & Electric is a family run, local business operating on the Sunshine Coast for more than 40 years. Our team of gas fitters, heating technicians, and certified electricians deliver the finest home heating and electric products and services on the Sunshine Coast. We currently have openings for a class B Gasfitter - Plumbers with Gas tickets and heating experience are encouraged to apply.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Installations of Gas fireplaces, furnaces and other gas appliances in new construction and retrofit properties
- Adhere to current rules and regulations related to heating and natural gas so that systems pass inspection the first time

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years’ technical and trade experience
- Current trade ticket (or registered apprentice at 2nd level) as a gasfitter.
- Understanding of the current regulations within the field.
- Happy to work alone or as a part of a team
- Valid Drivers License

Please note, this position is on the Sunshine Coast BC, a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver. Applicants must reside on the Sunshine Coast, or be willing to relocate.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
