We are looking for rope access technicians to fill full-time positions in restoration and maintenance:
**Building Envelope Maintenance**:

- Conduct building inspections & prepare reports.
- Leak investigations and exterior sealant repairs.
- Building envelope restoration.
- Exterior sealant repairs.
- Other repairs and replace construction materials.

**Rope Technician**:

- Rope access to hard to reach areas without scaffold or a work platform.
- Descend, ascend and transverse ropes for access and work while suspend by harness.
- Perform duties such as inspections, painting touch ups, water proofing, caulking and other kinds of work at height or high angle.
- Perform minor repair/ maintenance activities at height or high angle.
- Follow established safety rules and instructions.

**Customer Service and Administration**:

- Communicate respectfully and effectively with co-workers, customers, and building managers.
- Complete paperwork at the beginning of each job.
- Inspect and maintain personal gear.
- Ensure work area is always neat and tidy.
- Ensure use of control zones.
- Participating in operations and safety meetings.
- Ad Hoc exterior maintenance duties.

Other duties as requested.

**Education and Work Experience**:

- Level 1-3 IRATA or SPRAT.
- Safety Training and adherence to WorkSafe BC requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of rope access work experience.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Not afraid of heights and able to work on ladders and suspended stages.
- Must be able to work while suspended in harness for extended periods of time.
- Be capable of functioning in outdoor environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to staff.
- Valid BC driver’s license is an asset.
- Criminal record check will be done.

**Compensation**:

- $28.00-40.00 depending on certification level and experience
