The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Accounts Receivable team with daily tasks such as recording payments, reconciling accounts, responding to customer requests, and making collections inquiries. Your responsibilities will also include liaising with customer support and sales teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES** ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE - Maintain an accurate aging report and reconcile A/R balance to G/L - Record payments to customer accounts, and follow up on any discrepancies - Provide daily, weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, including but not limited to, accounts receivable aging, cash receipts, commissions, and invoice registers - Reconcile customer accounts as necessary - Perform monthly reconciliations of other receivable accounts, investigate discrepancies as necessary - Create credit memos as required OTHER RELATED DUTIES - Customer account maintenance - Ability to deal with delicate financial situations with tact and diplomacy - Ability to adapt well and establish good working relationships in a continuously changing environment - Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Good command of the English language (written and verbal) - Some accounting knowledge required - Strong problem solving skills - Experience in E-commerce (PayPal, Shopify) reconciliations and a manufacturing apparel environment would be an asset - ERP Systems experience; NetSuite experience an asset
