Babysitter/housekeeper

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children during playtime and daily activities.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Organize educational games and activities to stimulate learning and creativity.
- Assist with homework and provide educational support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour and any concerns.
- Ensure children's needs are met with compassion and understanding.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in childcare or caregiving is preferred.
- High School Diploma required, post-secondary education preferred.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities and support their learning needs.
- Familiarity with working with children of various ages, including those with disabilities.
- Strong communication & EQ skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
- Drivers License/own vehicle.
- Current Police Information Check with VSC clearance.
- Strong references.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
