AtlantiCann Medical Inc. (AMI) is a licensed cannabis producer. AMI is looking for a Procurement and Inventory Control Coordinator, responsible for inventory control on various products, raw materials, consumables, finished goods and other items throughout the production facility. The individual is also tasked with identifying problems with inventory and troubleshooting where the problems occur to keep an accurate inventory at all times and maintain an orderly inventory management system.

**DUTIES**:

- Performs Cycle Counts on inventory, investigates errors and problem solves discrepancies with appropriate site contact(s).
- Manage and monitor the flow of cannabis material via Ample Organics software and assist with end of month inventory reports for Health Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency.
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking system across the entire supply chain
- Monitor daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory in real-time. Perform weekly analysis to predict potential inventory problems and determine solutions.
- Stages the product for production to ensure accurate lots and amounts are being processed according to the production schedule.
- Keeping secure storage organized at all times
- Aids with monthly inventory counts and reconciliation against the software system generated inventory numbers.
- Reviews documentation and monitors production lots to identify for discrepancies.
- Processes and documents return, as required, following the established procedures
- Develops and implements improvements to existing operational procedures and departments to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Working closely with vendors and suppliers to secure on-time delivery of key inputs. Examine the levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages, and order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
- Assists shipping and receiving by weighing/counting incoming inventory, acquiring accurate incoming inventory records, ensuring appropriate movement/storage within the facility, and coordinating outgoing shipments.
- Monitors lot controlled consumable items within the warehouse, maintaining inventory counts, and ensuring enough inventory to fulfill orders.
- Maintain constant communication with internal production team to ensure inventory needs are aligned across entire organization.
- Must be comfortable with the physical security requirements and inventory regulations of the Cannabis Act and Regulations.

**Authority**
- Issue Purchase Orders for supplies & materials.
- Access to secure storage.
- Receipt and movement of inventory.
- Prepare and execute shipments.
- Transfer product to and from External Warehouse.
- Ample access

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma
- Post -secondary education in logistics and inventory management is an asset
- 3 years minimum experience in an inventory role or similar position
- Experience in cannabis inventory management and the use of Ample Organics is an asset
- Effective problem-solving methods and skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Strong commitment to professional development and knowledge acquisition
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
- Ability to learn new software and inventory tracking programs
- Ambitious, self-motivated is comfortable in a high growth, startup environment
- Must pass Criminal Record Check
- Daily travel to facility in Lower Sackville, NS required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
