Social Media Assistant and Reels Editor

A modest online small business in Toronto, looking for a Social Media Associate / Assistant to join our e-scooter retail business content team, on a **part-time basis** mainly evenings (For editing and posting) and weekends (For in person shoot meet up, on saturday or sunday).

Our goal is to create 8 x 30-60 secs videos per week, to be posted daily,

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with reviewing scripts and content shoot plans
- Assist during content shooting days (Typically 3-5 hours on saturday or sunday, this includes maintaining the video repository - fancy word for where we store pre-edited videos :))
- Edit and post short-form content (15/30/60-sec reels/tiktok) occasional long-form content on YouTube (**Would pay extra if you can do this**) - (You edit whenever you want, as long as posts get scheduled to run at the right time, were golden)
- Curate content for posting on our channels
- Help maintain the video repository and update the content calendar Engage with the community and manage interactions
- Other duties as discussed and agreed upon

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience with video editing for social media Reels, Tiktok and YT Shorts
- Experience using social media channels, Facebook, IG, Youtube, Tiktok

**Nice to have**:

- Having a personal vehicle,
- Good with Adobe Creative Suite

Support such as subscriptions and other resources (**Justified**) will be provided**

**Compensation**: Starting at C$150/Week with strong potential for a pay increase within 60-90 days based on performance. And of course, other perks.

The position is expected to become a full time position in summer, from May 2025.

**Main requirement**, must be physically present in Toronto, ON.
