**Job Summary**

The historic 2400 Motel on Kingsway in Vancouver is a Living Wage Employer and is looking for a full time Landscaping Labourer for the summer and into fall to care for the 3.5 acres of lawn, trees, bushes, and flower beds that surround the buildings of the Motel.

As a Landscaping Labourer, you will be responsible to provide professional property landscaping duties as directed using appropriate equipment (mower, weed and trimmer, etc.). Experience with such equipment is essential. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

- Provide regular, preventative, and restorative landscaping maintenance for all areas of the Motel;
- To provide excellent service in keeping with Motel standards;
- Ensure Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed to ensure department objectives are met;
- Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed;
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the Motel’s policies, procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the Motel facilities and happenings; and
- Maintain a safe and clean Motel experience for all staff and guests.

The shifts are as required and may include weekends.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

Maintenance Team Members must always present themselves and interact with guests and the Motel Team in a professional manner.

**Salary**: Depending on experience, starting at $20.00/hour plus a $75 per pay Transportation Subsidy
