- Information Technology Services (ITS) is a department within LHSC providing services in the areas of Network and Telecommunications, Helpdesk, Cyber Security, Clinical and Corporate Applications Support, Clinical Informatics, Interface Creation and Support, Device Deployment, and IT Project Management. ITS delivers services to LHSC along with many regional hospital partners and supports more than 20,000 users of computer systems and devices. Our goal is to support and advance clinical care and quality through the deployment and support of innovative technologies.

** Job Summary**:

- **What the Role is**
- Reporting to the Director, IT Business Operations, the Manager, ITS Project Delivery is accountable for the most complex/highest risk Information Technology projects with strategic impact across LHSC's Local Delivery Group (LDG) catchment (32 Hospitals). The Manager will oversee a team of Project Analysts, Project Consultants, and Senior Project Consultants, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Manager, ITS Project Delivery will work closely and effectively with various clinical and business leaders, along with project team members and external parties, to ensure projects are correctly chartered, planned, executed and closed, according to project management standards. This includes ensuring projects stay within scope, budget and associated timelines; securing financial, technical, clinical and business resources; appropriately assessing opportunities, impacts and risks; and developing and implementing solutions.
- This role is accountable for day-to-day department activities, including the management of human and material resources, day-to-day staffing and scheduling, development and support of a healthy workplace, risk and utilization measurements, and facilitation of improvement initiatives and change management, while operating within approved operational budgets and financial guidelines and controls. A major focus of the role is fostering effective working relationships and networks within the team/unit and with other teams across the organization.
- NOTE: This role is required to be on-call, evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
