Kitchener, Canada KW Painting Full time

**Job Title**: Production Manager - Painting Services

We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual to join our team as a **Production Manager**. This is a high-responsibility role where you’ll be leading crews, managing projects, and making sure jobs get done at the highest quality. You’ll be the one keeping operations running smoothly—from planning and organizing, to problem-solving and motivating people on-site.

This isn’t your typical 9-5. The hours are long, the workload is heavy, and the pressure is real. But if you’re the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves taking charge, and isn’t afraid of a challenge, this is the perfect opportunity to prove yourself.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee painting crews on residential and commercial projects
- Coordinate schedules, supplies, and logistics to keep projects on track
- Ensure top-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Train, motivate, and hold team members accountable
- Solve problems quickly and adapt when things don’t go to plan

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take charge
- Excellent communication and organization
- Reliability, resilience, and a strong work ethic
- Someone who doesn’t shy away from responsibility or long hours
- A growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn fast

**What You’ll Gain**:

- Hands-on management experience running real projects
- Leadership skills that will carry into any career
- Competitive pay and performance-based bonuses
- A chance to prove yourself in a high-stakes, fast-moving role

**Position Details**:

- **Term**: May - August 2026 (4 months)
- Full training provided before the summer starts
- Competitive pay + performance-based bonuses

Pay: $3,000.00-$6,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:

- Casual dress
- Company events
- Discounted or free food

Application question(s):

- This job requires long hours and heavy responsibility. Tell us about a time you took on a big challenge or leadership role. How did you handle it?
- What excites you most about taking on a role where you’ll be managing people and projects instead of just doing the work yourself?
- What’s more important to you in a summer role: making as much money as possible, or gaining leadership/management experience? Why?
- This position involves training during the school year and full-time work from May-August. Do you see yourself being fully available for that?
- What year did you (or will you) graduate high school?

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)

**Location**:

- Kitchener, ON (required)

Work Location: In person
