If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply We are looking for a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team. Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and work within our big box retailers, such as Home Depot, Rona+, Rona and Reno Depot. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities Merchandisers execute merchandising directives and establish a positive rapport with store personnel and customers, and relay information to Scotts Sales team regarding inventory opportunities. This is a contract position with a start date in April, and end date of July 26th. Typical weekday shift is 7am - 3:30pm. Weekday shifts are flexible. Weekend shifts may be required (Saturday 10am-2pm) from mid April to end of May. Working an average of 22 - 34 hours per week. Key Work Performed: - Merchandise Scotts products including restocking shelves, racks, and displays; cleaning and facing product; repairing or removing damaged items, etc.- Drive in-store sales in conjunction with Scotts Sales Manager- Assemble fixtures and displays in-store.- Install and maintain point of purchase materials.- Provide recommendations and product knowledge to both consumers and retail customer associates.- Provide consumer product education.
