Main duties
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods or special meals
- Schedule and supervise activities of line cook, prep cook, and other kitchen staff as well as train kitchen staff
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work area
- May plan new menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May set up and oversee buffets
Employment requirements
- Have several years of commercial cooking experience (Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Asian cuisine, and/or Deep Frying)
- Have a food safety certification recognized in NB, before the start date of employment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
