**Overview**
Amico Eatery, a brand-new Italian café and culinary destination, is looking for a reliable and organized **Pastry Chef / Baker** with a deep knowledge of traditional Italian pastry and baking techniques. From bomboloni to crostate, from artisan tarts to biscotti and pan di spagna, we want someone who can bring la dolce vita to life in every bite.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a variety of classic and modern Italian pastries, cakes, cookies, and baked goods
- Develop seasonal and signature desserts aligned with our Italian concept
- Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and quality
- Manage ingredient inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety protocols in the pastry kitchen

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker, preferably in an Italian or European bakery
- Deep knowledge of Italian dessert traditions (e.g., tiramisù, cannoli, pasticciotti, panettone)
- Precision, creativity, and a passion for quality ingredients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a culinary team
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Italian pastry: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Italian (preferred)
