Squamish, Canada Fontaine Site Services Full time

Immediately hiring full time Skilled labourers to join our crew in Squamish Our projects are throughout the greater Vancouver area to the sea to sky corridor. Specifically we do residential and commercial excavation (civil & earthworks), demolition and site preparation projects. Experience with civil works/some knowledge is a must and individuals should be comfortable with steep excavation and varying in all types of terrain and environment.

As a, you will provide assistance to the site superintendent on various construction sites around Vancouver, with your primary responsibilities being:

- Manual labour, cleaning and preparing sites
- Raking, shoveling, unloading trucks and maintenance tasks
- Digging trenches, raking and shoveling
- Cleaning debris and removing waste materials from sites
- Operate hand tools as directed
- Work safely around heavy construction equipment
- Other labour duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- **Must have previous experience in earthwork and/or civil work**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience and sounds knowledge of construction on residential/Commercial job sites AND/OR
- Landscape experience hard/softscape
- Complete understanding and compliance of safety procedures, especially around demolition, heavy machinery and working with the public
- Drivers license/transportation to and from worksite
- Proof of Certifications and/or tickets that apply: ie First Aid, Confined Spaces, Fall Protection, Construction Safety Training, Ground Disturbance,H2S Alive, etc. Not all required but more the better
- Excavators/skid steer experience an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada
- Hard worker
- Self-motivated
- Punctual and reliable
- Safety conscious
- Reliable Transportation to various sites around the Greater Vancouver area

Your starting hourly wage will be determined based on your ability and previous experience. The position is eligible for overtime pay. After three months of employment, employees are eligible for extended health and dental benefits.
