Pharmacy Assistant/cashier

**Permanent**, part-time position:
Front Shop Clerk (main) & Dispensary Assistant (Friday's/Saturday's)

*previous pharmacy experience preferred*

**Shifts**:
2 weekday shifts - Thurs & Friday (9am to 4pm)

2 Saturday shifts per month (9am-2pm)

**Wage**:
$17.20 to $18 per hour

**Front Shop Responsibilities**:

- Large focus on customer service
- Operate cash register during sales transactions
- Perform daily cash deposit report at end of day
- Order front shop merchandise (OTC medication, vitamins, decor, snacks, etc.)
- Order pharmacy stock supplies (vials, bags, labels, etc.)
- Price & stock daily product orders
- Maintain front shop window displays
- Maintain cleanliness of store (vacuum, empty garbages)
- Answer phone calls & record prescription refill requests
- And much more

**Dispensary Responsibilities**:
Eventually will be trained on the following:

- Send/receive faxes
- Send/receive orders
- Process new and refill prescriptions using pharmacy system
- Send refill requests to physicians
- Fill prescriptions and compliance packs
- All other common pharmacy duties
