The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is the industry’s leading audit program. The IOSA Office is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and continuous evolution of the IOSA and ISSA* Programs worldwide.

With the Risk-Based IOSA program, IATA is insourcing the operation and administration of the audits to continue delivering industry benchmark assurance to the industry. This includes the insourcing of the ISSA Program.

This transition sees the IOSA Program Office scaling up rapidly over the next few years to create a seamless end-to-end audit process to support the delivery of the Risk-Based IOSA.

We seek a Manager, Audit Planning to lead the Audit planning activities, reporting to the Senior Manager, Audit Operations.

What your day would be like

You will be responsible for the long and mid-term audit planning activities involving airlines and auditors, such as scheduling audit dates for and with airlines and auditors. You will manage irregularities and changes to scheduled audits. Therefore, your responsibilities will also cover the constant optimization of the scheduling process and solution, as the program grows and integrates other audit initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- In accordance with internal requirements, plan audit logistics with airline and auditors and manage changes to plans as part of an effective customer relationship management process
- Constantly optimize scheduling to improve resource management, auditor training initiatives and audit quality
- Develop audit planning and logistics processes and maintain relevant auditor records
- Conduct in-depth schedule manipulation and analysis to support requirements, as well as determine optimal audit plans and contingencies
- Maintain planning models to ensure alignment with business needs
- Establish forecasts and maintain metrics to align and reconcile planning models, operational results, and/or budget
- Study planning strategy, while seeking to capitalize on opportunities to improve auditing plans to increase efficiencies
- Run scenarios to simulate potential impact of planning variations, such as changes to schedules and auditing demands
- Support the auditor management, such as auditor currency/recency tracking and scheduling of trainings
- Support activities to grow the program across the global airline industry
- Implement IT scheduling software and ensure continuous enhancements and maintenance
- Lead and participate in projects required to run and integrate large-scale audit operations

We would love to hear from you if
- 4-6 years’ experience in scheduling, planning and administration experience within aviation or a similar industry
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- IT affinity and in-depth knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and international environment addressing multiple time zones
- Creative and flexible team player
- Experience in scheduling/planning tasks would be strongly desired
- Excellent English skills are essential. Other languages would be an advantage
- University degree in Business Administration or similar discipline, or equivalent experience and qualifications would be an advantage
