Brandt is currently seeking a Service Technician for our Value Parts department. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the dismantling of construction, forestry and mining based heavy equipment and components. Duties will also include cleaning, assessing re-usability, and rebuilding components. The position will play a key role in assisting the other Value Parts shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity.

**Required Skills**:

- Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
- Highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Must possess excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Previous experience repairing heavy equipment and rebuilding components would be considered an asset
- Possess strong willingness to learn
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling an asset
- Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
