Account Coordinator, Montreal

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a liaison between ILIA and our retail partners, namely in-store and regional leadership
- Build & develop a strong, results-driven freelance artistry team (on average the coordinator will manage 4-8 freelancers across the market)
- Analyze & maintain regional sales reports
- Maintain clear communication with Account Executive and accounts
- Calculate and achieve seasonal and monthly goals for the territory by store
- Understand retailer specific cultures and modify approach to achieve success
- In conjunction with the Account Executive, this role will develop event activation programs to increase brand presence in critical doors and ensure proper execution
- Drive business in region through creativity, education, and field strategy
- Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and category
- Leverage your negotiation skills to secure opportunities to increase brand awareness and visibility in region
- Maintain a consistent calendar of visiting stores on peak days and working alongside retail employees
- Upholding the visual standards of ILIA on tester units and gondolas.
- 1-3 years’ cosmetic sales experience as a brand ambassador or account coordinator
- Fluency in French. This is required to effectively communicate with and serve the primarily French-speaking client base and prospects in Montreal and surrounding areas, including sales presentations, negotiations, and relationship building.
- Excellent organization and communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
- Beginner proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel; Power BI a plus
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule - weekends & holidays required
- Ability to speak to a group, inspire and motivate teams with previous experience managing & developing a freelance team
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive & effective business partnerships
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with high level of energy and motivation
- Experience working in a national beauty retailer environment
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
