**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor all areas of the property for external and internal theft, unusual activity, and/or potential security threats.
- Monitor security systems such as alarms and closed-circuit cameras.
- Identify, document and report all internal/external theft.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations of theft or fraud incidents.
- Analyze data from surveillance systems to identify patterns and prevent future losses.
- Ensure trespass documentation is completed and recorded.
- Assist with the development and/or implementation of security policies.
- Prepare reports on loss prevention activities, incidents, and outcomes for management review.
- Respond to incidents of theft or suspicious activity in a timely manner.
- Follow loss prevention policies and procedures to reduce theft and fraud.
- Assist with day to day operations based on business levels and needs.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in loss prevention techniques and processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent conflict resolution capabilities.
- Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours.
- Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays).
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make difficult decisions.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff, management, and law enforcement.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
