**Current Opportunity**

**General Responsibilities & Essential Functions**
- Compound sterile pharmaceutical preparation using aseptic technique and following standard operating procedures and NAPRA, USP
and USP
standards.
- Document details of the process when compounding in the sterile clean room.
- Sterilize equipment and instruments as required.
- Submit to regularly scheduled garbing competency and glove fingertip testing, and conduct media fill tests.
- Use, clean and maintain all equipment.
- Monitor and maintain records for clean room facility and equipment as required.
- Clean and maintain the sterile clean room.
- Conduct air and surface sampling.
- Maintain product inventory, including completing inventory counts and checking expiry dates.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma from a CCAPP accredited college is required.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician, or in the process of becoming registered, is preferred.
- Sterile Compounding experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or other related fields is an asset.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.

**Education**
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program is preferred.

**Working Conditions**
- Working inside a sterile cleanroom and/or controlled preparation area for long periods of the day.
